My iPod’s stopped working. Right in the middle of NPR’s “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me” podcast, the click wheel stopped responding. All I can do now is reboot the device.
It also reboots when I flip the lock switch.
I rebooted, reinstalled, and restored, just like the troubleshooting instructions said. No dice. Now I’ll have to look for my paperwork to see if it’s still under warranty.
This is a grim coincidence indeed, for during lunch on Saturday, Jack and I were talking about the relative lifespans of the iPod and the Zune.
This is going to make my bus commute a serious drag.
