Coke Rewards tips from readers, and I finally spend some of these points March 31, 2007

My last couple of posts about my experiences with the My Coke Rewards program led readers to offer some helpful MCR hacks.
I mentioned that I was having a hard time reading the codes at the bottoms of the caps. Kirk Castille wrote,
“If you take a flashlight and put it under the cap it makes the numbers and letters a lot easier to read.”
Jeff said,
“I hold the caps up against the screen of my laptop on super bright. Helps a lot. If that doesnt work I have my 10 year old read them to me.”
Maybe Jeff’s 10 year old can read them for me, too? The other day I went to LensCrafters for new glasses and wound up with a pair of trifocals. Trifocals, for God’s sake.
When I mentioned that the new, shallower caps made it easier for me to read the codes, Rob said,
“Funny you mention that, Wade. I found that it makes it harder to, you know, get to the actual product you bought in the first place. The caps are much harder to get off the bottle now, because they’re so shallow.”
They are a little slippery, aren’t they? But they haven’t given me too much trouble. In conversation, my buddy Steve pointed out that by reducing the size of the caps, Coke might also be saving money on packaging.
Yesterday I finally spent 25 of my Coke Rewards points on a coupon good for a free popcorn at AMC movie theaters (with the purchase of a Coca-Cola beverage, of course.)
This makes me very happy, because almost all of the coupons, gift certificates, etc. that I get for movie theaters are for the Regal Cinemas chain; whereas the theater that’s closest to us is an AMC. Maybe Regal participates in more “package deal” gift certificate programs?
Anyway, after putting up the art for the “Visions” exhibit at Redeemer and having lunch, we’re gonna see 300 and eat popcorn.

I am having problem logging my points. Everything I go to the site it does not come up. Once it finally does, it looks as if it’s frozen there. I have tried to use internet explorer with no luck. Any suggestions?? Apprarently the company has made some upgrades to the site.
Has anybody actually received a reward from Coke? I’ve been waiting 12 weeks for a little stuffed bear, and I don’t see any way to communicate with them to ask whats going on. All I see is that the order is being “processed”.
I used some points, printed the reward but needed a promo code I didn’t get. I don’t see w ay to contact coke on the web site. any ideas

I also have a 12 week old magazine subscription . It was not filled and the magazine has not record. I’ve used 95 points for nothing it seems. Does anyone know of a contact address or number to call?
I,too, am extremely frustrated with the “Coke Rewards” website. I haven’t been able to log on for several weeks. It keeps telling me to download the flash player, which I’ve done several times. Why doesn’t it recognize it? There is a 800 number on the coke cap. But don’t expect any help. They told me there wasn’t anything wrong with their site, it’s my computer. If any one has any suggestions?????
Actually, I found that if you dry the cap out, then you can read the numbers very easy. Also, if anybody is giving away Coke Rewards, I’m game, just myspace them or e-mail em to me.

I redeemed 1400 points for a Sony DVD player back in Jauuary. I went to the Sony web site 3 times and entered my reward code number, it looled like I had it on order, but never received the player. I just called Coke rewards and told them the problem, which will be investigated, and I will be notified in 7 to 10 days. Yes the number on the coke cap will get you a live person, try calling 866-674-2653. Hope that helps anyone.

AMC theaters has a peel off label on their large drinks. It is a Pirates of the Caribbean promotion. Anyway, each label gives you coke rewards points. Most of them have three points each. Last night I got one that had 5000 points, very cool!
Hey I am trying to save some points up to get the american idol cups and other things like that. I am giving them to kids at a summer camp I work at and I need lots of them. So if you dont really use your points or you dont care about it any more I would really like it if you could send them to me.

Donate Your Coke Codes!
Well I would like to thank everyone who is going to or is thinking about donating their codes! It would be a great help, and we could all interchange and help each other get lots of My Coke Reward Codes. For those wondering, the codes are located on the bottom of any coca cola products’ bottle cap. For bigger products , (such as boxes) you can make a thorough search and donate any codes you may find!

I work for the Coca cola company and I know a code that can double your points if you have over 1000 of them (for ex. if you have 1000 i can turn it into 2000 points) But the problem is that i can not tell any1 the code or I will be fired so if you would like me to DOUBLE all of your points just email me your login name and your password and I will type the code in for you My email is travisblu_02 @hotmail.com cheers
