My co-worker pointed me to a site where you can purchase foreign currency online. Place your order and American Express will ship you an envelope of yen, Euros, shekels, or whatever else you need, through UPS Second Day Air.
It was so cool to see him tear open the envelope and pull out a stack of Japanese yen.
