I watch stuff! shares news of rumors of maybe-possibly a new Star Trek movie in which the Next generation crew mingles with actors from other series. Patrick Stewart elaborated on the technical aspects of such a team-up:
When asked how the story would explain the merging of different eras, he said, “I don’t know, time warps or something? What does it matter? Nerds will eat this shit up.”
I would pay $10 to see it, even if it sucked. That is how far gone I am.
It would take a lot to get me to miss a Trek movie these-a-days. We haven’t gotten to a decadent period like the old Trek movies did, where you could be pretty sure you didn’t want to see – for example – Grandma Uhura distracting guards with a half-nekkid fan dance.
