The USC Center on Public Diplomacy is so excited about getting SF author and digital rights activist Cory Doctorow as a visiting scholar that it says, “Canada is increasingly recognized as being on the forefront of innovation and scholarly thought in the public diplomacy sphere,” twice in the press release.
It also describes Cory as a “visionary” four times. Maybe if “I, Robot” wins the Hugo, Cory will be upgraded to the coveted status of noted futurist!
