One of the greatest musical moments of my life was when I saw Mike Doughty, author Lemony Snicket, and Death Cab For Cutie play Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like The Wolf” at the Bumbershoot music festival in Seattle last year.
Mike Doughty, it turns out, hath a blog. (A good one!)
And he’s posted a link to an audience member’s recording of the event. The sound is murky, but you can easily make out Lemony yelping, “I’m on the hunt, I’m AFTER YOOOOOU!”
Oh my God, it was so great.
