You know what sucks, though? Working with templates. They’re all right as long as you don’t want to do anything that the template creators didn’t anticipate. But right now I’m struggling to insert images into a freshly-templated* piece, and it’s a huge pain. I have to create a text box and paste the images into that, but then the text outside the box wraps weirdly, and the images are an awkward size so they’re messing with my layout in godawful ways; but if I reduce them** you won’t be able to make them out, and sometimes half the image disappears and I have to start over again.
I have a feeling that whatever I end up with, the editor is going to spit on it and scornfully grind it into the dirt with her heel.
Bah! I’m calling it a day. The doc will still be here Monday morning.
Tomorrow we plan to visit the Bellevue Arts and Crafts Fair, and then on Sunday, we’re going to a party at a Greek Orthodox church.***
