Good luck with Pynchon!
Wade, here’s a link for you to something that might interest the arts folk at Redeemer and that you might want to post on your arts blog over there. http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/itia/events/2007/theme.html
I found this conference being mentioned as upcoming over at The Land of Unlikeness, the St. Mark’s Episcopal crowd’s site (in Philadelphia, not Seattle), at http://www.landofunlikeness.blogspot.com
Janet – thank you! That’s very cool, and I will definitely post that on the arts blog. I was having a conversation about just this topic with someone at Matthew Whitney’s artist reception. (It was an interesting meeting of the minds between an artist, a writer, and a musician.)
Wade, the problem I mentioned at the parish website is when you try to listen to a sermon and you are transferred to that external website. Btw, I can’t play the sermons, even though everything esle plays on my computer, so should I download the mp3 player? Duh… But I always hesitate until I check with someone….
