A secret cabal within MI6 has made an unholy alliance with vampires to fight the war on terror. As a sleeper cell of Operation Edom working undercover in the U.S., your secret life and the supernatural horrors you face take their toll: rivalries, resentments, and forbidden desires threaten to tear you apart. Can you keep your cell intact, and survive the terrible ordeals to come? Is the cost worth it?

In this game of emotional drama and interpersonal conflict, you are beings of fallen Asgard – valkyries, giants, dwarves – fleeing with the surviving gods in a massive starship. Now you journey through a dark and hostile galaxy searching for a new home; but not even Ragnarok can quench your fiery passions, or heal the bitterness dividing you.

deltaOperation ALADDIN’S CAVE (Fall of DELTA GREEN), 7:00 p.m. – midnight

It’s 1968. Your team of DELTA GREEN agents has been assigned a mission in war-torn Vietnam—and a confrontation with cosmic horror. U.S. forces recently captured a Viet Cong tunnel complex in Quang Tri province near the DMZ. They may have removed something from that tunnel complex. Investigate this possible outbreak of the unnatural, and contain it by any means necessary.

It’s 1971, and a famous Romanian ballet company has defected to the West. But your covert team of vampire-hunting MI6 agents suspects that the Ballet Brasov has a dark secret. Is Dracula once again active in England? If so, who among the company are his servants?

13th Age at OrcaCon 2017, Jan. 13-15

Going to OrcaCon in Everett this weekend? Want to play 13th Age RPG? You can see all of the game sessions here.

For my part, I’ll run a 3-hour demo on Sunday from 10 AM to 1 PM, plus two adventures that I designed:

The hunt for a missing vampire leads you to a volcanic island occupied by fanatical sun cultists. Their plan: sacrifice the vampire in a ritual to summon and control a long-lost flying temple to the sun gods—and use its power to “purify” the Dragon Empire by exterminating all other religions! Can you prevent the dawn of a terrifying new age, ruled by a ruthless theocracy of fire?

No experience is necessary to play this 13th Age RPG adventure, and level 4 pre-generated characters are provided. (Feel free to bring your own, though!)

Suggested age range is Everyone 6+.
No experience required; will teach rules to new players.
Maximum number of players is 6.

A dwarven airship has crashed in the magic-blasted wastelands of Midgard’s west, with a stolen magical artifact on board. Evade, outwit, or out-fight undead goblins, magic abominations, and rival adventurers to reach the prize!

No experience is necessary to play this 13th Age RPG adventure, and level 2 pre-generated characters are provided. (Feel free to bring your own, though!)
